I graduated from the University of Calgary in mechanical engineering with a music minor. By day I get to learn about and play with fluid mechanics (particularly mixing and heat transfer), and in the other hours I may be playing piano, reading stories with our children, or fixing something around the house. And in case you were wondering, our family uses a simplified, anglicized pronunciation of Hawryluk (Ukr. Гаврилюк): we rhyme it with garlic.
